ABOUT NURSE’S NAIL NOOK

Hi! My name is Audrey Brinks, creator and owner of Nurse’s Nail Nook!

I have always loved getting my nails done and the simple beauty it adds to everyday life. It has always made me feel good and more put together in so many ways! When I became a nurse, it not only became a lot harder for me to work in the salon service due to my busy schedule, but I also preferred being able to have a quick and easy way to apply nails/take them off for work. Most healthcare professionals can’t wear nails to work, so we’re always looking for short nail options or an easy way to remove nails quickly before going back to work.

In 2024, I started to do my own nails at home with a gel polish kit because it was easier for me than going to the salon every few weeks. I fell in love with using my own creative freedom to create my own nail sets, but I was always sad when I had to remove them and start over because some of the sets were my absolute favorite! In 2025, I was scrolling through some nail creator accounts and found some accounts talking about creating press-on nails so that you can re-use your favorite nail sets. When I dug a little further I realized that these are not only a great option for those of us who want to re-use nail sets, but also like to change nails frequently or have fragile nails!

I decided to try a few sets for myself and realized how much I loved this option. Upon talking to some friends and family, I realized I wasn’t the only one who had this opinion about getting my nails done. After this, I decided to start my own business creating handmade press-on nails to share with others!

Nurse’s Nail Nook is now a creative outlet for myself and a way for me to share easy access to a beauty service that may be too expensive or require too much up-keep for the busy-ness of life. I’ve had the honor of creating some amazing sets in honor of awareness causes and creating custom sets that people want to re-use over and over again.
